On March 21, 2025, as a core supplier in the RF and microwave field, AMBASEN Technology was invited to attend the "800G Industry Chain Seminar in the High-Frequency and High-Speed Era" held in Wuxi.

This seminar brought together top industry experts and enterprise representatives, with 1,300 participants jointly discussing the latest technological advancements, application challenges, and future trends of the 800G industry chain, contributing to the promotion of industrial development.

Highlights of the Exhibition

This seminar was conducted in the form of "resource interaction - market application - lecturer speeches". A number of small and medium-sized enterprises participated, bringing products such as AI intelligent high-speed copper cables, high-frequency connectors, and optical modules, and paid special attention to the application prospects of 800G technology in data centers, 5G communications, and artificial intelligence fields. Through booth interaction and technical sharing, AMBASEN Technology demonstrated the company's innovative strength in the RF and microwave field, with a particular focus on coaxial RF switches and their core role in high-frequency and high-speed scenarios.

Coaxial Switches: The "Nervous Center" in High-Frequency and High-Speed Systems

As a key component in the RF and microwave interconnection field, coaxial switches play a crucial role in the industrial chain:


Function: In high-speed cable testing, an instrument called a "Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)" is usually used. This instrument is quite expensive, with prices ranging from several hundred thousand yuan to several million yuan depending on the measurement frequency. However, it only has 2 to 4 signal interfaces, which greatly reduces testing efficiency. If multiple sets of testing equipment are purchased, the cost will increase significantly. Therefore, switch matrices have been developed, and coaxial switches are important components of them. This allows the number of interfaces that testing equipment can connect to multiply, greatly improving testing efficiency.


Application:


  • High-speed interconnection systems: Support signal routing for 800G optical modules, meeting the demand for high-speed and low-latency transmission in AI computing power and data centers.

  • 5G base stations and satellite communications: In millimeter-wave frequency bands (such as 28GHz and 39GHz), coaxial switches are used for multi-channel signal switching, supporting dynamic spectrum allocation and beamforming.

  • Military radar and autonomous driving: High-frequency radar systems rely on coaxial switches to achieve fast signal switching, enhancing target detection and anti-interference capabilities.


With the popularization of 5G, AI, and satellite communications, coaxial switches are developing towards higher frequency bands, lower loss, and intelligent control.
